The Animal Card is the individual record page for one sheep. It brings identity, status, group, dates, notes and animal-specific records into one place.

From this page, the farmer can check the sheep’s basic details, review weight history, look at treatment records, check pedigree information, see linked finance records and keep notes attached to the correct sheep.

01Identity detailsShows tag, name, sex, breed, group and status so the farmer knows which sheep is open.
02StatusShows active, sold, dead, culled or inactive state while keeping old records available.
03Weight recordsGives access to past weights and daily gain where enough measurements exist.
04Treatment recordsShows what was applied, when it was applied and which sheep received it.
Hoofdtaak

Open the right animal and check what has happened to it before making the next farm action.

The card is reached from the flock list or from related records. After opening it, the farmer can review identity, status, group, weight, treatments, pedigree, notes and linked history without rebuilding the record from notebooks or memory.

Hoe dit vaak gebeurt

Many apps treat the animal profile as a simple form. The useful history is often scattered across other screens.

  • Weight history is far from the animal profile.
  • Treatments are listed away from the sheep that received them.
  • Notes stay in notebooks, messages or memory.
  • Sale, death or culling records are hard to review later.
Wat HerdDeck anders doet

HerdDeck keeps one sheep’s record in one working page.

  • Open one sheep from the flock list.
  • Review tag, name, sex, group and status.
  • Check weight records and daily gain.
  • Review treatment, pedigree, finance and notes linked to that sheep.
