Acceptance and product scope
By installing, accessing or using HerdDeck Shepherd, the user accepts these Terms. HerdDeck Shepherd is designed for sheep flock management, record keeping, decision support, stock, finance, medical, reporting, synchronization and backup workflows.
It is not a substitute for professional veterinary, legal, accounting, nutrition, tax, investment or farm management advice.
License and restrictions
Subject to compliance with these Terms and an eligible subscription or trial, HerdDeck grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app for the user’s own farm or business records.
The user may not reverse engineer, bypass license checks, share activation credentials outside the permitted device policy, manipulate device identity, overload services or attempt unauthorized access.
Plans, limits and devices
Demo access is read-only or limited sample access. Standard/Active is limited to up to 10 active animals. Pro permits unlimited active animals under the product’s published plan rules.
Standard/Active permits one Android device and one Windows device. Pro permits multiple devices up to the published device limit. Windows access is activated through an entitlement connected to an eligible Android purchase.
Subscriptions and payments
Android subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play. HerdDeck does not request Android access payment through external payment links.
Windows access may depend on activation state, subscription status, device entitlement and periodic verification.
Data, sync and decision support
The user is responsible for the accuracy of entered farm data, local device security and regular exports/backups where needed. Synchronization and backup features depend on connectivity, service availability and license status.
HerdDeck outputs, including HARSE, reports, finance summaries, stock calculations and recommendations, are decision-support tools and do not guarantee operational, financial, biological, veterinary or business outcomes.
Changes, limitation and contact
HerdDeck may update the app, plans, service model, features and these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HerdDeck is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or loss-of-profit damages.
