Who we are and scope
HerdDeck Shepherd is a sheep flock management application for record keeping, decision support, stock management, finance, medical records, reporting, synchronization and backup-related workflows.
HerdDeck Shepherd does not ask users to create a separate user-facing HerdDeck account inside the app. Internal license, workspace, device and quota records may be maintained for subscription verification, entitlement control, synchronization, backup, support and security operations.
Data we may process
Depending on the features used, HerdDeck may process flock and farm records such as animal identifiers, breed, sex, birth, pedigree, weights, treatments, medical events, stock movements, feed and ration information, financial records, reports, notes and other operational data entered by the user.
HerdDeck may also process plan type, trial status, purchase verification state, activation state, device entitlement, active animal quota, app version, platform, synchronization state, diagnostics, error information and security-related events.
Payments and Google Play
HerdDeck does not intentionally collect payment card numbers, bank account details or direct payment credentials. Android purchases and subscriptions are handled through Google Play.
Use, storage and sharing
Data is processed to provide app functions, enforce plan limits, verify subscriptions, activate eligible Windows access, support synchronization and backup, provide support, improve reliability, detect misuse and maintain security.
HerdDeck does not sell user data to advertisers, and farm data entered by the user is not used to build advertising profiles.
Security, retention and requests
HerdDeck applies reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
